I left a Full Overhaul watch with them in April and collected it about four weeks later. The difference in how it runs is noticeable — steady, where before it had been losing half a minute a day. What I appreciated most was the service document they included. I'd never seen anything like that from a local shop before.

I sent my grandfather's watch by registered post from Chiang Mai. Nat confirmed receipt the same day and sent a condition note a few days later. The Delicate Restoration took six weeks, which is exactly what they'd estimated. The watch runs again, and the dial is intact. I'm glad I asked them rather than handing it to someone local who wasn't sure about vintage movements.

Very calm experience from start to finish. I came in not knowing whether my watch needed a light service or a full overhaul — they assessed it properly and said the Gentle Refresh was sufficient for now. They could have suggested more and I wouldn't have known the difference. That honesty matters to me.

I had a 1970s Seiko hand-wound that had been sitting unworn for years. Brought it to Sukjai for a full overhaul. Three and a half weeks. Now running within about five seconds per day. The written record showed the before and after timing readings which was a nice detail — something to keep with the watch going forward.

Communication was consistent throughout. They let me know when the assessment was done, flagged one small additional part that needed replacing (and confirmed the cost before doing it), and sent photos of the completed work before I confirmed the return courier. Packaging was careful. I'd use them again.

My wife gave me a vintage Longines for our tenth anniversary. It ran but the balance felt sluggish. Sukjai did the Delicate Restoration — took about seven weeks. The movement came back beautifully regulated and the case was given a gentle brushing that matched its original texture rather than polishing it to a mirror shine. That kind of careful judgment is rare.

Three service journeys
Case Study 01
A 1968 Omega Seamaster that hadn't run in twelve years
Challenge
The customer inherited the watch from an uncle. It had been stored in a drawer for over a decade. The movement was seized, the dial had some oxidation at the edges, and the crown was stiff. She wanted it running again without drastically altering its appearance.
What We Did
Full Delicate Restoration. Complete movement overhaul, careful disassembly of the corroded components, replacement of the mainspring. The dial was cleaned very gently to reduce the oxidation without removing it entirely — preserving its aged character. The case received a light brushing rather than a full refinish.
Outcome
After seven weeks, the watch was running within four seconds per day and wearing its age with some dignity intact. The customer described it as "more itself than it would have been if it looked brand new." Documentation provided for future reference.
"I expected it to come back looking like a shop watch. Instead it came back looking like itself — just working again."
Case Study 02
A daily-worn automatic running two minutes fast each day
Challenge
A customer from Silom had been wearing his automatic since 2018 without any service. The watch was running noticeably fast — nearly two minutes a day — and occasionally losing power overnight. He wore it daily and wanted reliable timekeeping restored.
What We Did
Full Overhaul. Complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, full re-oiling. The worn mainspring was renewed. Regulation across six positions on the timegrapher. The gaskets were refreshed and the case pressure-tested. Returned within four weeks.
Outcome
Timekeeping now within about six seconds per day — a common result for well-serviced movements of this age. Power reserve restored to normal. The service record shows before/after timegrapher readings, which the customer found interesting to compare.
"The timegrapher printout was a nice touch. I never thought I'd care about seeing those numbers but actually it was quite satisfying."
